  First Japanese fish carrier "Oceano Atlantico" Cuba got in 1974. Then in 1977-78 in Japan were built four vessels of the same design but with some differences. Although all vessels were built for Flota Cubana De Pesca as a matter of fact they were multipurpose reefers.
  "Golfo De Guacanayabo" in 2008 was rebuilt as livestock carrier.
Purpose of the vessel:     - receiving of frozen fish from fishing vessels by contact method in sea, transport of received cargo to port
