 In total more then 80 units were built at Nikolaev from 1956 to 1964. Also on the basis of this type were built 4 Small Intelligence Ships (type 393A) for Soviet Union Naval forses. Almost all vessels from Kaliningrad in 70s were transferred to patrol service. Two vessel in early 80s were converted to tow vessels for manned submersible "Bentos" (cv according design 2005: "Divnyy" & "Gordyy"). Two vessels served as tug boats in Ilyichevsk port until late 90s ("Bravyy" & "Bezshumnyy").
