Fish processing mother ship "Pamyati Kirova"


LIST OF VESSELS 


 The vessel was built as a cargo vessel "Horace Bushnell" under USA flag in 1943. On March 20, 1945 in lat. 69.23N, long. 35.17E she was torpedoed by german submarine. Explosion completely destroyed the engine room and later "Horace Bushnell" was wrecked. The vessel was salvaged in 1949 by the Soviet Union and rebult as a fish processing ship in 1949-1956 at Mathias Thesen-Werft in Wismar.
