 In total 39 units were built from 1968 to 1973 at Yaroslavl. This design is modified "Mayak" type. About six vessels were built for Soviet naval forces as refrigerated transport. Vessels "Afalina", "Paliya" and "Antur" in 90s were transferred to Russian federal boundary patrol service.

    - cooling of catch, production of salted fish
